Texas State Cemetery

The Texas State Cemetery is located approximately one mile east of the Capitol and spans 18 acres. The cemetery provides a final resting place for individuals who have made significant contributions to Texas. Stephen F. Austin, governors, numerous legislators, judges, and unique individuals throughout Texas’ history are some of the people buried at the Texas State Cemetery.
